Erase of the Results
03:41
|
|||
if heaven ever wishes to grant me a boon
it will be a total erase of the results
of a mere chance which fixed my eye
on a certain stray piece of shelf-paper
I have looked upon all that the universe
has to hold of horror
and even the skies of spring and the flowers of summer
must afterward be poison
loathsomeness
waits and dreams in the deep
decay spreads over the cities of men

External Restrain
03:35
|
|||
up and down gigantic inclined planes
horror hangs over everything I see
the windows are glazed and latticed with bars
I dare not to approach
the dark granite masonry
is of a monstrous megalithic type
the vast pedestals are littered with books
but tall as they are I view them from above
I feel an inexplicable horror concerning myself
I feel the odd consciousness
of an external restrain on my memory
those snatches of sight a frightful connexion
designed influence holds me from grasping
I feel an inexplicable horror concerning myself

Necessary Force
03:57
|
|||
I feel like I have gone through a blender
Everything ia a scramble
They treated me like a lab experiment
Carving me up in their flesh factory
I’m eager to return the favor
do you know what it feels like
to have flesh excised slowly from your body
you treated me like a piece of meat
you’re going to die now and before
I want you to look at my face
swallow my pain
you can kill us over and over until the end of time
but we’ll keep coming back to kill you more

The Nameless City
03:04
|
|||
when I drew nigh the nameless city
I knew it was cursed
afar I saw it above the sand
fear spoke from the age worn stone
and a viewless aura
repelled me and bade me retreat
from secrets no man should see
remote there lies the nameless city

Unearthly Symmetry
04:55
|
|||
I was glad to sink
into the vaguely roaring abysses
then the shift as planes
loomed above and below
then a flash of delirium
and a blaze of unknown
alien light where the colors
were madly integrally blended
I was half lying on a high terrace above
a boundless jungle, of outlandish peaks
planes, minarets, domes
I raise from the floor
tiles cut
in bizzare angled shapes
based on some
unearthly symmetry
I cannot comprehend
the city below
stretches away to the limit of my vision
and a sound wells up from the streets
faint musical flutes

Lost
03:38
|
|||
when age fell upon the world, and wonder leaves
when high walls and sterile twilight reigned, poets sang no more
what we lost
and childish hopes had gone away forever
one night a mighty gulf was bridged, the skies swelled down
wild streams of violet glittering, with dust of gold from beyond the worlds
opiate oceans poured litten by suns
that the eye may never behold
they bare him to join the dreams for which he longed
the dreams that men have lost

Anesthesia
04:35
|
|||
we gonna tell you
what we do
we gonna pierce you
to send you sweet juice
you’ll feel some little dizziness
but then the punch arrives
do think of something that you like
the sea, is how you call it now
so how is it, what do you feel
I can’t recall, it slips, it melts
so where - is it that you play?
do think of something that you like

Snatches of Sight
04:32
|
|||
I seem to be
in an enormous vaulted chamber
with colossal round windows
Vast shelves of dark wood
holding
immense sized books
with strange
hieroglyphs on their backs
visions of sweeping
through cyclopean corridors
the mocking hieroglyphs
on the walls
would blast my soul
were I not guarded
by a merciful
ignorance
